I Have Arrived!

Hello Loves! Here is a quick update on my status: I am in Auroville, FINALLY, after a 16 hour plane ride to Hong Kong, a 4 hour layover, a 5 hour plane ride to Chennai, then a 4 hour drive. I got here early in the morning, and haven't been able to sleep yet. I am exhausted, starving, and too excited to settle down. The smells here are beautiful- a bit tropical, humid, and some of that exotic pollution smell. ;)
I already made two friends- two little adorable puppies that live at the Tibetan Pavillion where I am staying. I'm glad they are here, because I was the first student here, other than my two teachers. Trying to sleep alone in an empty room was challenging, and I got sad and lonely for a while. (Hopefully I'll get those feelings out of my system early, so that I can be fully present!)
So unable to sleep and feeling sad, I slipped out of my window at sunrise- a humid orange one rising above the palm trees- and went for a little adventure. This place is really interesting- there is a robust plethora of different bird and animal sounds, many different plant and tree species, and centipedes! Also, it's true - Jack, you'd love it because cows really DO walk around in the roads!
I have yet to explore Auroville fully- I have only just begun. But if you have seen the TV show "Lost", it really reminds me of it! ;)
Okay, I'm going to keep it here for now. I truly love you all, and I miss you already! Huuuugs!
